The Phoenix Chi Omega Alumnae Association (and friends) are thrilled to announce our second annual charity party. This year, we'll be hosting a full-fledged Southern Soiree - Derby Style, benefiting Chrysalis, a Phoenix Valley safe house for both women and children who have been victimized by domestic violence.

Chrysalis was founded in 1982 when an inspired woman opened her own home as a domestic violence shelter. Since that time, Chrysalis has expanded to respond to the community's need for a comprehensive, 360-degree approach to aid those affected in ending the cycle of abuse. Standing on 26 years of success, the organization has a mission: to lead our community to broad-based solutions to prevent domestic abuse, through safety, support and education. In the organization's 2006-2007 fiscal year, it helped 1,459 individuals make long-term lifestyle changes that have allowed them to begin living free of violence and coercion. Chrysalis is a 501(c)(3) registered organization.
Donations are tax deductible. Deductibility will be affected by the value of goods received. A portion of net proceeds from the event will be donated to Chrysalis. Receipts will be available for all ticket purchases and corporate donations.
Last year, our charity party raised more than $2,000, and we'd love to see this year be even more successful. You can help us reach our goal of $5,000 by donating money, raffle items or other in-kind donations.
For corporate/personal donations in amounts greater than $100, we're happy to put your logo or include your name on the event's marketing and promotional materials, event signage, invitations, tickets and more. Anything you can do to help us raise as much money as possible for the Chrysalis shelters and programs is much appreciated.
